Perspective

I am interested in the changing associations we have with photography in the digital age. Working with a photograph that is produced via the processes and ideals of generic mass production, to hand make three-dimensional and sculptural assemblages. These explore the photograph as object, as surface, as texture, as fragile, as materiality. Thus questioning the way our relationship with the visual world is mediated. Note: These are photos of the final assemblages. I can't add the actual sculpted photos here but if successful I could find a way to send them to you to experience them. Probably a crazy thing to submit (photos of photos) but it's the work I feel closest to at the moment while following the theme of what a photograph or photography is in this digital age of swiping on glass.
