My submission is a collection of street photography images in a modern cinematic style to celebrate the humanity and diversity of London. Many street photographers still adopt the black and white style of Henri Cartier-Bresson, and although he was a giant of street photography, I believe it is time to bring it up to date to reflect the modern culture and diversity.
All images were captured in London in 2017.
I am becoming increasingly passionate about street photography as I learn to "tune in" to the environment and begin to see beauty and art in the everyday, to capture such moments is a wonderful experience.
It is very different to my first love of landscape photography and demands an immediacy that requires present moment awareness. The creative possibilities in street photography are literally endless and in an ever changing environment such as London, you can be sure no two moments are alike.
