Defaced

'Defaced' is a continuing series of photomontage portraits that explore themes of vanity, identity and representation. The images are multi-layered using studio model portraits and blending composite layers of rust, metal, distressed concrete and torn urban posters. The work sets out to break down conventional portraiture and explore the human face with it's myriad hidden layers.
