Habana in Transition.

Habana is a city in transition - literally, in flux. Old cars and older architecture may dominate the landscape, but the Cuban people long to move into the post-modern, internet age. All of these images could have been taken 50 or more years ago, and would not have looked out of place, which is why I depict them in a transitory state between monochrome and color. They are presented as a metaphor of the uncommon place and time that is contemporary Habana, and the absolutely unique character of the Cuban people.
