In the last decade, the numbers of the HIV cases have increased. According the recent data, in the Netherlands more than 25.000 people were infected in 2016. Today are 36.7 million people living with Human immunodeficiency virus in the whole world, 2017. In this group there are some people who are living with depression after they were diagnosed as positive. The constant fear makes them feels negative about their life conditions, such as their personal health, social-economical position, future family life and the way that society judges them. As a young boy, C.M was quiet, silenced by all the clatter of the fights with his family and the bullying he suffered at school in Taiwan. He thought of what people said about happiness dubiously - sometimes even with anger. When he thought he had sorted out a list of things in life, including settling down in Amsterdam by himself, he got the HIV+ diagnose. He doesn't know where and how he got it in the short time that he has lived here. His parents - living far away - are not aware of the situation, he has few friends in this new city and he is dealing with the virus, the depression and moving on with his life with his “red”.
