'' The creative process' In order to arrive at my final portraits, I have to create a kind of calm in my head. The many stimuli and ideas need an outlet to come to the essence. For me this involves cutting, pasting, tearing, joining, changing images. I use old photographs, magazines for that. This produces paper collages, which I process in many different ways. These original works are small, unique pieces of art in themselves.
