The day after
I took this pictures in the 48 hours after the Grenfell Tragedy in London has happened. A young boy is looking at the black skeleton while listening to his iPod. What is he thinking? does he live in the tower? Does any of his relatives and friends live in the tower? No one can rationalize the extent of this tragedy happened in one of the most advanced cities in the world and in the richest borough. After 6 months from the 14th of June, many questions are still unanswered: “How many people actually died? Who developed and promoted a building insulation foam that was not fireproof? When the responsibilities will be defined?”. What is very clear to me is that this tragedy has nothing to do with fate or a concomitance of unpredictable events but has to do with human negligence and bad politics.
