Standing in the light

Working on my portfolio recently I enlisted the support of a professional eye and we discussed the dominance of women in my book. An imbalance, which concerned me, could be seen as a weakness was identified as strength. This got me thinking, with the few female photographers working within my genre I should in fact be celebrating my feminine view and all the amazing women who have stood in front of my camera. Bringing about "Standing in the light" A series of images celebrating warrior women, it's in the softness we find strength. It’s not an accident my work brings strong, inspiring women into to my life, I seek them out and celebrate standing beside them.
