Everyday objects that we associate with stay still and unnoticed.
I am intrigued by their inanimate details. I chose to deepen on their particulars.
Detaching objects from their context within the physical world forces perception, cognition and rational to compete for the semiotics of the image. Does the viewer need to find what the object behind the image is?
I allow her or him to think. I prefer they would think.
I capture margins that need to be filled-in and I forcefully begin the dialogue with the viewer pitting their need for interpretation against their rationalization of abstraction.
