"Malencholy" in Havana

Endless strolls along the Malecón, fleeing wild and wonderful Havana, seeking the essence of this 8.5 km (5.3 mi) wall that some call the longest sofa in the world. The Malecón is not the same it was in the ‘90s, bustling, filled with beachgoers, and I feel a certain melancholy that ultimately becomes the main theme of my documentary work – a strange feeling that permeates my photographs and my being, that I decided to dub “Malencholy”.
