The one refuge we have is our place of safety, our home. To lose ones home is to lose everything that represents our well being. None so extreme as the story of Savamala, The overnight demolition of a 2sqm area in the centre of Belgrade. 234 residents were made homeless overnight. Many had lived there all their lives and built their own homes from found materials. Ongoing project.
