Street Portraits of Women

Presented here is a short selection of women's street portraits taken in Canada, India and USA. These women come from different age groups and racial backgrounds, their social status and, quite possibly, sexual orientation diverge as well. As is often the case with the street photos, people's reaction to a camera is spontaneous and the element of surprise may bring out an unexpected emotion or provide the viewer a sudden access to a person's true self that only lasts for a fraction of a second.
