My American America
One summer the wind blew just right and America called. Photographed during a two-month road trip in search of the American rite of passage, the American summer. This project is a look at ourselves at a time when lines have been drawn by our fingers in the dirt, and then crossed. These images represent what can be our strengths, while at once being our weakness. Our passions and zeal have led us into greatness, and the depths of darkness. I wanted to expose that. The moment we have pushed forward with thought and action only to realize it was in haste. Though we must continue, for we are now committed to the consequence wherever it leads.
