Down and Under

Like many New Yorkers, I have a love-hate relationship with the subway. The subway is where I spend most of my time other than my office and home. Initially, photography was a way to kill time on the train. Gradually, I became truly enamored of the subway. It's amazing how people of different backgrounds behave and get along in this confined space. All of the photos in this exhibition are taken from a phone camera, which enabled me to get up close for candid shots without being noticed.
