KC Heartbreak

This series follows a female dressed to envoke images of Kurt Cobain, playing his mint green fender in the empty heart-shaped hot tub of a motel. The images explore a desire and nostalgia for authenticity through simulacrum while simultaneously attempting to create a process through which illusion and icon transform into origin and authenticity.
