“New York” is traditional black and white street photography. The series of portraits was created during Magdalena’s photographic trip to New York in May 2016. Every single photo tells the story of an accidental encounter in New York. This can be the story of a Japanese tourist posing for a selfie for hours; the story of a girl listening to Mozart at the dusty metro station; or the story of a young man looking at wedding guests with contempt. The images invite you to imagine your own story for each person in the photograph.
