I was born in Saigon. After being adopted, I'm living in Belgium. But I worked, am travelling regularly in Vietnam... I need to smell the papaya, to taste a "pho" in a noisy street.
Time is passing since my last trip.
This summer, I have been going back after 10 years of absence. Saigon is more than ever HCMC, full of modernity, full of contradictions,... There are fewer "non la" (the conical hat), fewer "ao dai" (the traditional dress)... but more smartphone, more happy few, more traffic jam, etc. However, people add always chili in the soup pho and the country is so far.
It is not travels photos but the pictures of my nostalgia
