Isolation... the separation of people from normal settings and environments or things out of context. Sometimes this occurs through decisions we make ourselves, like reading a book or because of circumstance. Like doing a job or living in a remote area in Outback Australia. Other times though, it is through neglect, social exclusion because of differences in gender, belief and mental outlooks. Or because we feel we simply don't belong.
Judging ourselves, others and things out of context lead to prejudicial behaviours and reasoning that rip at the fabric of social cohesion and wellbeing. Our differences are our strengths, and acceptance of people for who they make our society stronger and richer.
