You & Me On A Sunny Day

This non-motion picture features 135 elaborate photographs that are viewed in sequence in a large-scale exhibition. The entire experience will stretch over 1000 feet of wall space giving the viewer an emotional experience like no other. You & Me—a monumental project that took the artist five years to complete—follows the fictional life of an eighty-seven-year-old widow, Millie. In this psychological thriller, Millie is forced by daydreams and nightmares to confront her past. The narrative is built through a sequence of photographs, some being staged in her apartment, and others situated in places she and her husband visited in the past. Photography from this series is in the permanent collection at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (BAM/PFA) and the Tweed Museum of Art.
