Mimetism

For the past 12 months I have been documenting the lives of inhabitants of the center of Lima, Peru. Since the middle of the 20th century those new neighbourhoods have brought the province close to the capital and has developed new ways of life and behaviours. The emergence of a popular culture in those areas combines values and practices of the Andean past and the urban present.
