I take pictures of Sydney's urban landscapes to generate a series of images that reflect the behaviour of this city while trying to find my role as part of it. By subtracting partially or completely the colors from the photos I focus only on the shapes and character of them.
I've found many people living in the city's streets, some of them are artists, most of them raise dogs and all of them like to read. They have many properties, sometimes I can not tell what those are because they keep them hidden, but sometimes I found those homes alone and I'm able to capture them. Some people call themselves "homeless" but some people don't and I'm not sure it is correct to categorize them like that. I wonder if any of them live like that for their own election. I talked with a guy once, he got angry with me for asking for a shot of his book, but he let me take it anyway.
