I have always been fascinated by the sculpturality of spontaneous constructions in urban spaces. There is something in these forms, perhaps the ever so close yet dichotomous manifestation of covered and uncovered parts of the object, that invites me to document, develop and reinterpret them over and over again.
I intend to find and challenge the borders between the spontaneous, the intended, the circumstantial, the staged, the uncovered, the covered.
In a complementary way, my collecting/documenting line of work with spontaneous urban constructions combined with discovering the sculpturality of the human body creats an associative channel between body and sculpture.
