photographic light and paper works
How does light materialize? How does material transform itself into form, object and space through light and shadow? These questions guide my sculpturally informed approach to light by means of photography.
Paper is my material of choice because of its capability to be formed. Its diverse textures and colors allow for various creative modes to capture and modulate light. In an experimental creative process I invent light and paper objects, which only exist in the moment of the photographic shot. They enable the spectator to experience the poetic dimension of light and materiality.
