The Surfaces Series
Project info

Putting aside the fact that most photography is shown on two-dimensional surfaces (with some notable exceptions), “surfaces” and barriers abound in the medium, whether they are physical or psychological, fluid or solid, murky or transparent, natural or man-made. This series is an exploration of the ways in which photographer and subject interact with the physicality and concept of surface – hiding behind it, (self)reflecting in it, resting on it, breaking through it.
