I come completely from the mountains

'Ég kem alveg af fjöllum' is an old Icelandic saying that translates into english as 'I come completely from the mountains', which means 'I have no idea what you are talking about'. Iceland has a vast and somewhat desolate landscape, and has some of the largest areas of uninhabited and undisturbed nature in Europe. But amongst this emptiness, Iceland is filled with peculiarities, both from nature and man. 'I come completely from the mountains' is a photographic documentation of my 48 hour trip to Iceland.
