The Last Former Communist Factories from Romania
Project info

This series documents the state-owned places from Romania that were frozen in a socialist past, and the people who chose to stay in them. It illustrates the neglect and stagnation after 28 years of economic and social upheaval. Places that were soon to be demolished. Companies who previously had over 7,000 employees, now find themselves with little more than a dozen. The remaining working class employees are barely qualified for hire anywhere else.
