My pictures show the backs of 10, in the full version of 12 different people. Women and men, old and young. The degree of abstraction comes with the chose of the frame and the reduction of the coulours to black and white. They look quite different if you see them from a nearer point or from far away. Thats precisely the same with the challenges, we have to face in our lives. The skin on our backs show the years we lived and the way we lived them. The stories of our lives are printed like totoos on the surface of our bodies. "And you can walk beneath and above my skin trouh the deep valleys of time"
