This series is a collection of images shot from Cessna aircraft over remote areas of Western and Southern Australia. The series explores the human impact on both natural and manufactured landscapes through mining and aquaculture. Each location evokes unique forms of unintentional order via a landscape exhibiting graphical elements through the geometry, shapes and lines present. Order coincides with an element of abstraction, requiring an increased level of engagement from the viewer to elicit the image's narrative.
The series includes 'Stitching Fillets' - runner-up in the 2018 IPA Professional Fine Art : Abstract sub-category.
