It is acknowledged by few that travellers form the largest ethnic minority in the South East of England, and indeed their existence has mostly been edited out of British history. This denial naturally impacts on the well-being of the traveller community and leads to a sociological misrepresentation of the identity of travellers. It is common knowledge that the concept of the traveller family is synonymous with fairs. In order to capture a glimpse of the lives of the travellers, Julia documented Midsummer Fair in Cambridge over the five days it is held.
