Thoughtlessly discarded on the street by pedestrians, these cans and tubes have eaten deep inside the asphalt. Passing cars press the objects more and more into the ground and deform them.
Usually you won’t give particular attention to such items of everyday use. They are ordinary consumer products of the current "throwaway" society. Manufactured in mass production, they all have got a standardized design. However, the cans and tubes which are shown in the pictures are involved in a constant process of change. They were transformed constantly by the crossing cars, until their nearly complete dissolution. Thereby the original and consistent form transmuted into something unique — an article of daily use changed into a distinctive fragment.
For a brief moment of time, it raises up from the asphalt to become a little urban monument.
