A Year of Protest

These photos are part of a larger series taken at different protests throughout the year in 2017. 2017 was the year of protest. Every week it seemed there was a new reason to bust out the sharpies and cardboard and to shout, to dance, to demand and to come together. For most it was a roller coaster ride that slung its passengers between hope and despair at breakneck speed.
