My Secret Garden

This series is inspired by several different fairytales like "Little Red Riding Hood", “Thumbelina" and stories like "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the looking glass”. The series will have different sub-series but also contain strong individual images. "My Secret Garden" will be an ongoing series because I have lots of ideas and sketches that I still want to work on. Working on this series has become very important to me also for a personal reason. After my mum died in 2014, I found it very hard to find something that kept me going for a long time. Everything seemed dark and nothing inspired me anymore which made it very hard to keep on creating. I needed to find something to inspire me on a large scale and make me want to keep creating for a long time. This series is exactly that and it helped me a lot to cope with things. So this is for you, mum.
