LIGHT IN THE ABYSS Ever since she was 7, Abby has been left in the darkness of her own mind. On one fateful day, Abby's eyesight was lost to a rare eye disorder in which the retina peels away from its underlying layer of support tissue. Armed with a cane and a fiery spirit, a degree was right there in the grasp of a hand. Alas, happy endings only occurs in fairytales. Abby returns to the comfort of the dark.
