Simply Children

Simply Children is an ongoing project inspired by my own family and those I have worked with. Through my early years of being a nanny and as a mother I was interested in capturing the more uncanny side of childhood, the macabre, the fairytale, the world of play that reveals the surreal. The childhood scars, the troubled schools days, the dressing up, the make up, and the moods are all real moments captured in my life. It's often in the small details of domestic life that the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
