Varanasi - Life Along the Ganges

While walking the ghats and lanes of Varanasi, it was my privilege to witness the many ways lives are lived along the Ganges. I discovered daily life on the sacred river is not only comprised of religious ritual but is also a kaleidoscope of color and activity. My goal was to capture the unexpected beauty of everyday activities in the everyday places of Varanasi, the city of temples and learning.
