In january 2016, I was deeply touched by a documentary about sex child trafficking in Cambodia.
I started to document the subject. My research led me to Indonesia, where, to my great surprise, I discovered that one of the regions, Indramayu, is the main supplier of young prostitutes for nearly 1,500 years.
Since I already had a genuine interest in the country, and also since I fell in love with it, I established contact with the Yayasan Kusuma Bongas Foundation.
After a year of preparation, I flew to Indonesia to carry out the report that is before your eyes.
The desire of my heart is that the visibility obtained (whether I win or not) allows Talitha Koumi, a foundation committed to the fight against sex trafficking of minors in Asia, to help more and more young victims to get out of prostitution.
