Plein Air

Plein Air 2011 ongoing Plein Air is body of portrait work taken In the landscapes of the Toronto Island a public park less than one mile from the city of Toronto. At a time when people are more often facing a blue screen for entertainment than walking in city parks, I remain interested in the many people who return to the Islands for respite from the city. These images include landscape painters, photographers, allotment gardeners, people reading, bird watching, walking or simply sitting in green space. To date there are over 50 images as part of this series. This work is currently installed on the centre Island pier on the Toronto Islands
