Theme: The religious complex
Method: Staged Photography
As a fine art photographer I sometimes work with depicting guilt and shame in the many shades it can manifest itself in, such as religious upbringing, taboos, lust, fear, remorse, restrictions and atonement.
The religious view is very suitable for the staging process.
It’s a mind-blowing and time consuming work to evolve fantasies and ideas, incorporate them in a plan, sometimes even a storyboard, finding and bringing people, my actors, together and keep them activated and engaged in visualizing the given project.
This group must unfold the individual talents and ideas without pressure, discover the players’ passions, insights and often opposed angles, really a Zen method.
