Antique Skin
Project info

A fascination with abstract forms, textures and interesting lighting angles has led me to choose the human body as a rich and varied subject. Rather than young, unblemished, pristine skin, I have found more interest in the peaks and valleys of my own skin sculpted by the rivulets of time. Early experiments with close ups revealed the marvelous textures and subtle fine lines and patterns that accompany the coarser, more easily visible imperfections of aging skin. Through serendipity, an unsuspected beauty in the creations of the aging process is exposed.
