Devils & Angels, Ritual Feasts in Europe

For my photobook 'Devils & Angels, Ritual Feasts in Europe' I've been searching for ritual feasts in Europe. In the past ten years, I visited numerous feasts in 16 European countries to record these on photographs and film. 'Devils and Angels' is about Europe but goes beyond the politics of Brussels. It brings together stories and shows the individual uniqueness and surprising similarities in the cultures of the growing Europe. The focal point is the immaterial cultural heritage of Europe, where local culture and tradition remain visible.
