Memory of Roças

The islands of São Tomé and Príncipe (Africa) were portuguese colonies until 1974. The country was well know for it's coffee and cocoa production, for more than one century. After the portuguese left, the small villages ("roças") are abandoned and left to the occupation of locals, with no future seen. This is a documentary essay, searching for the memory of the most forgotten nations in Africa.
