Fishermans Terminal in Winter
I completed a series of images documenting the off season and winter for the fisherman of the Pacific Northwest. I captured quiet fog covered ghost ships in the early morning, net and ship repair, winter work and the preparation of the newest and most technologically advanced fishing/processing vessel prior to its inaugural launch. I also captured a solemn memorial when a fishing vessel was lost at sea taking all of its crew with it. I wanted to document the less often seen side of the commercial fishing world in Seattle, Washington and show the beauty of a side I see in my everyday life.
