This work is from a desire to communicate with people rather than "just take pictures" Each day I walked many miles until I would find a person I felt I could connect with Mostly language between us was impossible but through the camera and a real connection with each subject the image just happened No lighting is used and part of the enjoyment of these for me is being able to communicate where I wanted them to be to work with available light
