About Reginald Van de Velde

Reginald Van de Velde is an internationally acclaimed and award-winning architectural photographer from Belgium.
 
He specialises in the photography of bespoke homes and interiors and has extensive experience in renewal and redevelopment projects. Historical buildings and heritage are his soft spots—he excels in capturing the true essence of a place.
 Reginald's photography aids architects, interior designers, real estate agencies and developers in their various projects.

His work has been exhibited internationally in both solo and group expos, including Saatchi Gallery (UK), The Art & Science Museum (Singapore), Backlight Photo Festival (Finland), New York Photo Festival (USA), Siena International Photography Festival (Italy), The Somerset House (UK), the Cannes Lions International Festival (France), Kunsthalle München, (Germany) and the National Gallery of Victoria (Australia).

On numerous occasions his photography has been awarded: winner at the Life Framer World Travelers (USA), winner at the Grand Prix de la Découverte (France), winner at the Cannes Lions International Festival (France), finalist at the World Photography Awards (UK), winner Moscow International Photography Awards (Russia), and winner of the Grand Prix at the Seoul International Photography Festival (South-Korea).

Most recently his work has been published in Lisboa Luz, a luxurious book by Assouline (NY).

Reginald is the author of two photography books: “Verlaten Plekken, Vergeten Stemmen”, published by Theater Aan Zee (2011) and “Between Nowhere & Never”, his first international coffee table book. Published by Luster Books (2015) and available in bookstores worldwide, this book marks a major milestone in his photographic journey.
