Reinis Lismanis (b. 1992, Jurmala, Latvia) is an artist living and working in London, UK after graduating from BA (Hons) Photography studies at the University of Brighton. He works primarily with photography, video and other digital mediums and his recent artistic practice focuses on philosophical implications of how various technological developments related to visual representation have an impact on society, and how this progress is experienced. The work aims to question various social, aesthetic and conceptual conventions and developments of visual representation.
