I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela from a New Yorker mother who was a pianist and a European father who was an engineer. Photography was my Dad’s hobby and he taught it to me when I was young. Although never my profession, It’s been with me on and off throughout the years, never truly too far. I moved my family to the San Francisco Bay Area in early 2003, which somehow coincided with the shift to digital photography. I still do both, film and digital, just like in me there is both Venezuelan and American.
For the past 3 years I’ve been a member of the Richard Dischler Photography Workshop in Palo Alto, California, and it has had a profound impact in my artistic journey.
