Renee is a self-taught Jamaican photographer, currently based in New York and New Jersey. She specializes in portrait and lifestyle photography.
Growing up, Renee was surrounded by various art forms, particularly drawing, which she loved. Photography, on the other hand, was a passion she discovered later in life. She believes photography has the power to capture how we perceive and comprehend the world. Renee also believes photographs serve as a potent reminder of our past and present selves. Through her photographic work, she aims to convey her values, relationships, and perspective on life. Her photography narrates the story of her own family, as well as the stories of families and individuals who place their trust in her ability to curate their life stories into evocative visuals.
