I'm 34, born and raised in Saint-Petersburg. Received BA and MA in Oriental studies in St.Petersburg State University. For many years worked as a Japanese speaking city guide and interpreter. Moved to Moscow in search of a better career.
In 2012 got a job in The Foreign Ministry of Russia. In 2013 was posted to The Embassy of Russia in Tokyo where I spent the whole 5 years. In Japan I rediscovered film photography to myself and experimented a lot with street photography, landscapes and other genres using different cameras. Was awarded at local international photography contests, got coverage in the Japanese media.
Throughout my whole life travelled to many countries capturing different scenery, people and architecture trying to develop my own style. Currently based back in Saint-Petersburg and continuing working on my photography proficiency, both film and digital.
Besides photography love surfing, books, movies and playing acoustic guitar.
