I have been in love with photography since 1990, when I met Mario Giacomelli. He so bewitched me with his personality and way of creating poetry-like images that I began to photograph. I started working in the dark room with a professional photographer, and I went on working and studying by myself. Over the years I attended workshops and lectures by Denis Curti, Ken Damy, Antoine D'Agata, Christian Caujoulle and others. Since 1997 I have been creating photographic series and showing my pictures in several solo and group exhibitions all around world. At the same time I have been working on commissioned projects and travel reportages. I personally takes care of all phases to get the final pictures, in either the dark room or using digital processing. I usually don't search for extraordinary events to photograph, but I try to make special what is ordinary taking the stories from daily life. I'm really fascinated by the backstage, the dark side of the scene and the life. http://www.rosaliafilippetti.com/biography_Rosalia_Filippetti.html
