Ross McDonnell is a filmmaker born in Dublin, Ireland. Since graduating with a MFA in Film Production, Ross’ work has evolved into a mature storytelling voice across a range of disciplines. His award-winning work as a Director and a Cinematographer has seen him collaborate with some of the world’s leading talents in both the documentary and feature film worlds. His most recent film ‘Elián’ premiered at the Tribeca International Film Festival in 2017 and was acquired by CNN Films, Amazon and BBC for international distribution. As a photographer and director he has been a regular contributor to Time magazine and regularly works with leading digital publishers, curators and distributors including The New York Times Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine, Showtime, Netflix and ESPN.
